I've been following the case of Cortez Boston for some time, and what continues to strike me is how close this happened to Xavier University. It's such a reminder that gun violence can impact any community, regardless of proximity to places we consider safe or typical. My heart goes out to his family and friends, who must still be waiting for the justice that hasn't come yet.
It’s alarming how violence has been affecting Cincinnati neighborhoods, and this particular shooting is a stark example. I hope that with continued community support and pressure, someone with information will step forward. Nobody deserves to be left in the dark about the loss of their loved one, and the cycle of violence needs to break. Has there been any news from the police or updates from the family recently?
I've been following the case of Cortez Boston closely, and something that's been on my mind is the impact of the community's response to such a senseless tragedy. It's encouraging to see local groups coming together to support the families affected and to advocate for peace in the neighborhood. It really says a lot about the strength and resilience of the people in Evanston.
However, it's also troubling that these efforts haven't yet led to any significant breakthroughs in the investigation. Surely, there must have been someone nearby who noticed something suspicious in the early hours of September 18, 2017. I can't imagine what Cortez's loved ones are going through, waiting for answers and justice. It serves as an important reminder of how crucial it is for anyone with information, no matter how small, to step forward. Supporting these families should involve not only compassionate words but concrete actions that might prevent further tragedies. ??
