Cortez Boston, a 26-year-old male from Cincinnati, Ohio, was killed in a double shooting on September 18, 2017. The shooting took place at approximately 12:39 a.m. on Rutland Avenue, near Xavier University in the Evanston neighborhood of Cincinnati. Cortez was pronounced dead at the scene, while a second victim, a man in his twenties, was shot multiple times and rushed to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
