I’ve been following the Candice Jean Aufrecht case for a while, and something that's been nagging at me is the delayed missing person report. Why did her family wait until October 2023 to report her disappearance? It’s really puzzling and makes you wonder about the dynamics within her family and if there were any reasons that could have caused them to delay contacting the authorities. Plus, with her birthday being the last time she was seen, of all days, that feels particularly significant. Does anyone know if there's been any word on whether Zachary William Ramey is cooperating with the investigation? You’d think there’d be more urgency considering the timeline. If anyone around Lincolnton recalls seeing anything back in March 2022, it might be worth revisiting in light of the current investigation. Hoping for updates soon.
