Has anyone else looked into the old reports about the weather conditions the day Mark and Kevin went missing? I came across some mentions that it was unusually foggy around the time they disappeared, which could have made navigating the area around those WWII bunkers a real challenge, especially for kids exploring. I wonder if the poor visibility was a factor in the search efforts too. It makes me think—could they have wandered farther than the search teams expected? Not sure if it’s been discussed much, but I thought I’d throw it out there for folks who are still interested in the case. It might offer some perspective on why the search didn’t turn up anything. Thoughts?

Hey everyone, I recently came across the case of Mark Peal and Kevin Conner, and something struck me about the location where they went missing. Has anyone looked into the history of the WW II bunkers they were exploring? I read somewhere that those bunkers have multiple underground levels and some are quite difficult to access now due to overgrowth and structural decay. Could it be possible that there were areas not thoroughly searched back in 1971? I know it's been over 50 years, but has there been any recent search around those bunkers with modern equipment like ground-penetrating radar? Just a thought, but considering how dense and tricky that area can be, maybe there’s still something to find. Thoughts?
