Has anyone ever looked deeper into why the other travelers waited so long to report what happened to George Patrick Willison? It strikes me as odd that they only came forward after he was officially reported missing. I get that fear can play a huge role in these situations, but we're talking about a significant delay on their part. Considering the shooter confessed to another murder, you'd think they would've been more forthcoming. Did they think coming forward earlier wouldn’t make a difference, or is there more to their story? I’d love to hear if anyone else has thoughts or info on this aspect.
Does anyone know if there was ever any follow-up on the investigation into the other travelers George Willison was with? It's so bizarre to me that nobody reported the incident right after it happened. Were they ever questioned more thoroughly by the authorities? Given that one of them confessed to the crime, you'd think the others might have more information or be involved somehow.
