Hey folks, I've been diving deep into the Lorelee Sue Lhotka case and something caught my attention that hasn't been widely discussed. Her wallet turned up three years after she went missing, all the way out in Blewett Pass. For those of you familiar with that area, do you think it’s possible someone might have given her a ride or it was a place she might have visited on her own before? Also, I know some of you have mentioned outdoor activity in those parts—hikers, hunters, campers, etc. Could it have been an area where someone could easily spot something suspicious or unusual, yet it took that long for the wallet to be found? It's weird to me that nothing else has ever turned up. Any locals or outdoor enthusiasts have ideas on this?
Has anyone else heard about the discovery of Lorelee's wallet at Blewett Pass back in '78? It's such an odd detail in this case that’s always puzzled me. If she was last seen in Seattle and possibly hitchhiking, what would have brought her all the way to the Wenatchee National Forest? It makes me wonder if someone picked her up and drove her there or if there’s another layer to her story we just don't know about. It seems like a significant lead at first but then just another dead end, unfortunately. I’m curious if there were any witnesses around that area during that time who remember seeing anything unusual or anyone who might've spotted someone using Lorelee's other surname, "Spamola," around Blewett Pass. It's frustrating how cases like these can gather so many missing pieces without forming a clear picture.
