I've been following the Double Oaks case for a while. What's been on my mind is how little we talk about Janie Elizabeth Thompson. It's such a tragedy that both she and Sandra Ann McAfee lost their lives in such a senseless act of violence. It seems like Janie's story often gets overshadowed, which is unfortunate because she also deserves justice and remembrance. It makes me wonder if there might be connections or leads in her background that haven't been fully explored yet. Many people knew her as a kind and vibrant person, and maybe someone out there remembers something unusual or significant about that time. I truly hope that by sharing any small details, someone might help bring closure to both families. They've lived without answers for far too long. Hey everyone, I've been diving deep into the Double Oaks Road case from 1975, and something that's been on my mind is the timeline of that day. From what I understand, Sandra and Janie's bodies were discovered after a relative couldn't reach Sandra. Does anyone know more about what time the relative went to their apartment? I'm curious because it might help narrow down when the crime happened and who might have been around at that time. It's been so long, but little details could make a huge difference. My heart goes out to their families, who have been looking for answers for decades. If anybody knows more about this or has thoughts, please share. Every piece of info might help in some way.
