I've been digging into the case of Roy Franklin Wishon, and something keeps nagging at me about the location where he was found. Burtner Street, from what I gather, wasn't exactly a bustling area back in '76. It's hard to shake the feeling that whoever did this knew the area well enough to think they could get away with it. I wonder if there were any associates or friends of Roy who had ties to that part of Greensboro? Also, it's always puzzled me why more information hasn't surfaced over the years, especially if Roy did indeed know his assailant. Could it be someone he was familiar with, or maybe someone who held a grudge? Hoping for some fresh eyes to look at this case—maybe there's a piece of the puzzle we can uncover together. My thoughts are with Roy's family and friends; they deserve answers after all these years.
