Hey everyone, I recently came across the case of Daniel Poirier, missing from Marshfield, MA since 1976, and something caught my eye. I read that he was last seen near the water, possibly involved in a boating incident. Has anyone else noticed how often these water-related disappearances seem to leave little to no trace? It makes you wonder about the currents or any possible underwater hazards that might have been underestimated at the time. If anyone has any insight into the conditions around Marshfield back in the '70s, especially any maritime or local knowledge, it could shed some light on why searches might have come up empty.

Wow, Daniel Poirier's case really makes me sit and wonder about the possibilities. I came across something interesting while looking into the circumstances surrounding his disappearance. There have been several informal accounts from locals who mentioned that the tides were particularly strong that day. Has anyone else heard this or have any more info on the tidal conditions back then? It makes me think about the tragic potential for things to have gone south quickly during whatever happened out there on the water. It seems like an angle worth considering when thinking about this unresolved mystery.
