I'm new to this forum but felt compelled to join the conversation about Florence Putnam’s case. I came across an old article from 1986 that touched on the emotional impact this tragedy had on her family and the community. The article highlighted how Florence was a beloved figure in her neighborhood, often described as someone who had an open door and a kind word for everyone. It’s just so hard to fathom how such senseless violence could strike someone so cherished.
I find myself thinking a lot about Geraldine and how she must be feeling all these years later, having not only lost her mother but also having survived such a harrowing ordeal. On top of that, there's the ongoing pain of not having closure. It's a sad reminder of how crucial it is for us to keep any relevant details in our memory and share them, no matter how insignificant they might seem. I hope that renewed interest or someone’s recollection might one day lead to justice for Florence and peace for her family.
Hi everyone,
I've been thinking about Florence Putnam's case from 1986, and something that stands out to me is the timing of the attack. It happened on a regular weekday evening while she and her daughter Geraldine were at home. This makes me wonder—was this a random act of violence, or did the perpetrator know their schedule? It seems odd for someone to choose such a time for a robbery unless they had some sort of inside information.
Also, considering Florence was 82 years old, it's troubling to think about whether they were targeted specifically because of their vulnerability. It’s unsettling that someone could have been watching them or knew enough about their habits to strike at such a time.
Thinking about Geraldine and the loss she must feel, especially knowing the perpetrator hasn’t been caught, it must be an ongoing source of pain. If anyone has more insight or theories on this, I'd be really interested to hear them. It's time we all collaborate in hopes of finding peace for the Putnam family.
Thanks, everyone. Hoping for justice.
