Just stumbled upon this baffling case while going through old records. Anyone else curious about why Mary Louise Watkins told different stories to different people before she vanished? On one hand, she was moving to San Jose to live with her daughter, but then the sudden marriage note her daughter received says something totally different. What do you all think? Could she have been trying to escape something, or was she possibly coerced? It really makes you wonder what was happening in her life in those final days. And then there's the suspect, James Carlin Toliver, who has a past littered with disappearances. It's like something straight out of a crime thriller. Does anyone have thoughts or theories on what role he might have played?
