I came across O'Dina Jeannette Lucero's case again after all these years, and it's stuck with me how eerily quiet the streets of Roswell can get once the sun goes down. I recently read an old local news article about a different case around the same time, and it got me thinking about catch rates for cases in small towns back in the '70s compared to bigger cities. Smaller departments often had fewer resources, and I'm wondering if that might have played a part in why O'Dina's case went cold so quickly. Does anyone know more about how Roswell PD handled missing persons cases back then? Maybe sharing more insights could help stir up some new discussions or leads about her disappearance. If anyone has access to old records or knows someone who remembers more about those days, it could be worth revisiting.
