Has anyone else looked into the report about Thomas Clair Vandermeer's truck? It's baffling that it was found locked near a drug house back in 1979, and yet there were no signs of any struggle or foul play. I find it suspicious that no solid leads have come from this detail. Could it have been a usual spot for him, or maybe just a random coincidence? Tacoma was pretty notorious during those years for drug-related issues, so I wonder if anyone with knowledge of the area back then has some insight. Also, does anyone know if the police ever re-examined the truck for traces of evidence with newer technology? Might be a long shot, but can't help thinking there could be something we’re missing.

Hey everyone, I’ve been digging through old missing persons cases, and Thomas Clair Vandermeer’s story really stands out to me. It’s weird to think his truck was discovered near the drug house but still nothing solid came out of it. Has anyone here ever looked into whether that house had any documented history or connections that could’ve been relevant back then? It seems like it could be an overlooked link. Also, was there ever any info about who was living there at the time? It’s frustrating that there’s so little movement on this case after all these years. Maybe there’s someone out there with some memories or stories from that area around that time? Let's keep discussing and see if we can find anything new to explore.

Does anyone else feel like the location of Thomas Vandermeer's truck could be a significant lead that's been overlooked? Given that it was found locked near a known drug house, it seems like there should have been more of an investigation into possible connections with the people around that area at the time. Maybe someone who lived there or frequented the area might have seen something out of the ordinary. It's curious that there hasn't been more focus on this part of the case, considering the potential for eyewitnesses. Has anyone come across any information about whether the police questioned people in that neighborhood thoroughly back then?
