I've recently come across the case of Bettina Minnie Antone, also known as "Tina," who went missing from Redding, California, back in 1980, and I've been trying to piece together some of the mysteries surrounding her disappearance. In particular, I'm curious about the note that was found alongside the money in her shoe at the motel. Does anyone know if the note contained any specific details that might hint at her state of mind or future plans? It just seems odd to me that she would leave such crucial personal belongings behind, yet take the time to leave a note and money hidden in that way. I wonder if she was planning something more than just a camping trip. If anyone local to the area at the time recalls anything or has any thoughts on this aspect, please share! It might help to bring some clarity to this long-unsolved case.

Has anyone looked into the two male friends Bettina mentioned in her last call? It's odd that she planned a trip with them, but there's barely any info on who they might be. Given her mental health issues, could they have been therapists or perhaps fellow patients she met in treatment? It seems suspicious that she'd plan something like camping without taking any personal items, especially photos of her kids and grandkids, unless she trusted these guys or maybe wasn't thinking clearly. Also, does anyone know if there’s any connection between these men and the area she wanted to hike in, like Lassen Park, or is this area known for anything? It might help paint a better picture of why she chose that spot. Still so many questions and not enough answers. ?

Hi all, I've recently been looking into the case of Bettina Minnie Antone, who went missing in 1980 from Redding, CA. Something that struck me as particularly odd is the fact that she left behind such personal belongings like her car and photographs of her family. It almost feels like she intended to come back soon or was in some sort of rush to leave. But then the money found inside her shoe throws me for a loop. Why not take it with her if she was planning to go camping or hiking? Another thing that’s been bugging me is her mentioning two male friends. Has anyone come across any info about who these friends might have been? Were they ever identified or questioned? I feel like they might hold some key insights, even if they weren’t directly involved. Anyway, it’s just another piece of this puzzle that I can’t quite fit. Thoughts? Hoping for some fresh perspectives on this!
