Has anyone looked into the significance of the "Desert" area near the Missouri River where Bruce Falconer's vehicle was found? It seems strange that both he and his friend Timothy Jewell ended up there on the night of his disappearance. I’m wondering if this spot had any known reputation back in 1981—like maybe a gathering place for locals, or something less savory? Especially with the car being stuck in the mud and evidence of a campfire, it feels like they weren't just passing through. Could there have been someone else they were meeting up with that night? I’d love to hear thoughts from anyone who's familiar with the area or has more info on its history.
