It's been over a week since Rodney Smith went missing, and I'm hoping the community can help piece together what's going on. Last sighting was around the 2000 block of West College Parkway. Does anyone know if there are many security cameras in that area? It might be worth checking if businesses or traffic cams captured anything around November 7th. Sometimes it’s the smallest detail that cracks these cases. If you saw something or know someone who was in the area that day, please reach out to the Carson City Sheriff’s Office. Let's try to get Rodney home to his family.
I’ve been following Rodney Smith’s case since it came up, and something that's really puzzling me is the complete lack of digital footprints. It's 2023, and people usually leave some trace online, even inadvertently — banks, social media check-ins, that sort of thing. Has anyone heard if his phone or email activity was checked? It seems odd for there to be zero online trail. Any tech-savvy folks here who can shed light on how digital searches aid in these missing person cases? Hope Rodney is found safe soon.
Have any locals noticed if there are security cameras around the West College Parkway area? It could be useful to check if any footage was recorded around the time Rodney was last seen. Sometimes businesses or even residential homes have their own surveillance that might have captured something. Even if Rodney didn’t interact with anyone, the footage could provide a clue to his last known direction or any suspicious activity in the area. It's a long shot, but every little bit helps, right?
