Hi all, I've been diving into Stella Vera Gies' case and got really curious about one thing, hoping someone might have some insights. From what I've gathered, Stella had diabetes, which means she would have needed her medication pretty regularly to manage her condition. I’m wondering, did anyone ever look into medical records to see if her prescription was filled somewhere after her disappearance? It seems like that might be a potential lead. I know it's been a long time, but maybe someone out there has thought about this or heard something similar in another case?
I've been looking into Stella Vera Gies's case, and one thing that piqued my interest is the possibility that she might have used the last name "Trujillo." It makes me wonder if there's a connection or significance there that wasn't fully explored back then. Did she have roots or family ties to that name, or could it have been an alias of some sort? It seems odd to not investigate all the possibilities linked to an alternate last name, especially in such a long-standing missing person's case. I hope this lead hasn't been forgotten over the years and that it's being thoroughly checked out. Anyone else come across similar cases where a change or use of an alias played a crucial role in either the person's disappearance or in eventually finding them?
