Has anyone else looked into the specifics of Dale Webster Strassburger's car being found on the Le Claire bridge? I've been pouring over old maps and traffic patterns from that time, and it really strikes me as odd because that route is nowhere near his normal drive home. It's been bugging me—why would his car end up there after he left work? It's not like it was a detour for road construction or anything, as far as I can see from the records. Was this maybe an attempt to throw investigators off? Or could it be someone else drove the car there? Curious if anyone has any theories on why the car was found in such an unusual spot.
Does anyone else find it strange that Dale's car was found on the Le Claire bridge, which wasn’t his usual route home? I mean, I've been trying to piece together why he'd be there in the first place. The detour seems really odd to me. If he left work, planning to head home, why was the car found there only 29 minutes later? It's almost like he was going somewhere specific or meeting someone. What if that change in route was forced upon him? Just spitballing here, but it seems like a key detail in understanding what could have gone down that night. Plus, there was that witness who came forward years later. Still, without more evidence or a lead, we're left with theories. Curious to hear thoughts on this part of the case.
