I've been following the tragic events of the wedding shooting at the Infinity Convention Centre since it happened back in 2023, and I can't help but reflect on the trauma the survivors must be enduring even years later. I can't imagine going to a joyous celebration and experiencing such horror. It's been so long, and yet we're still searching for answers and justice for Said Mohamed Ali and Abdishakur Abdi-Dahir. I hope the strong sense of community in Ottawa, especially amongst the Somali-Canadians, can provide some support and healing to the families and friends affected. It's devastating that their loved ones' lives were abruptly taken in such a senseless act of violence. I really urge anyone with any information to step forward. Even something seemingly insignificant could be the missing piece investigators need. Stay strong, Ottawa. We need to keep talking about this to ensure these men are not forgotten and to push for accountability.
