Did anyone else notice the gap in information between Mardi’s disappearance and the initial police pursuit? I get that it was a different era, but it’s so frustrating how little is known about her last movements. One day she’s there, the next she’s gone, and decades later, we still don’t have answers. I wonder if there was ever a significant search conducted in the area where she was last seen or if something could’ve been missed in those early stages of the investigation. Just seems there had to be someone who saw something in a neighborhood like that, even back then. It’s always worth a shot to check old records and news to see if anything overlooked might pop up! If anyone has local news clippings or remembers news coverage from that time, it could be helpful to share.
Hey everyone, I've been digging into Martha "Mardi" Hardin's disappearance and something really puzzles me. There are barely any details about her last known whereabouts. I mean, was she visiting someone, out running errands, or just going about her day? It's so odd, because you'd think after all these years, someone might remember seeing her or have some sort of recollection about that day back in 1985. Given that Muskegon Heights isn't that big, it's strange how nobody seems to have come forward with a solid lead on where she was or who she was with. Has anyone else found any other case info or news reports from that time? Maybe those might have details that haven't been highlighted yet. Let's keep digging and see if we can bring some attention back to Mardi's story.
