Wow, this case is such a tangled web of underworld dealings and gang rivalries. I was looking into the aftermath of Tran's murder and couldn't help but think about how it must have impacted the local businesses in Chinatown. With his gang running protection rackets, I'm wondering what happened to those businesses once he was gone. Did they face new threats from other gangs trying to move in, or did things calm down a bit? It must have been a really tense time for those shop owners, trying to get by in such a volatile environment. I can’t imagine the constant fear they must have lived in, not knowing if another gang would try to step up and impose their demands. If anyone has info or thoughts on how the community navigated this period, I'd love to hear more. It's so important to remember that these events ripple out and affect so many lives outside of just those directly involved in the crime. Stay safe, everyone!
