Has anyone else been thinking about the local knowledge required to pull off something as horrific as Gordon's murder near Tofield? It's unsettling to think that whoever did this knew exactly where to hide his body without drawing suspicion for so long. The way they used the abandoned septic tank makes it seem likely they were familiar with the area, and maybe even the property's history. The fact that no one had any clue for decades makes me wonder if the perpetrator(s) were from the community or had some ties to it. It'd be interesting to know if any locals back then had rumors about who might have been capable of something so cruel and calculated. The possibility that the killer might have lived among residents—or still does—is deeply disturbing. My heart goes out to Gordon's family. They've had to live with such pain and unanswered questions for far too long. I'm hopeful that with advancements in technology, they might finally get the justice they deserve.
