The mystery surrounding Mitchell David Zimny and his friends has always left me wondering about the circumstances of their disappearance. I recently came across old news articles about the incident. One detail that stands out to me is the homemade ten-foot aluminum boat they used. Has anyone here ever made or used a similar type of boat? I’m curious about how stable they are, especially in unpredictable waters like those around Fidalgo Island. Could the boat itself have played a role in the tragedy? Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
