Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about that detail regarding the dark Russian-style hat the suspect was wearing. It's such a specific kind of attire that I can't help but wonder if it could actually be a key to identifying him. Was this type of hat common in London, Ontario during the 1950s, or might it have suggest a particular profession or group he was associated with?
Given that the hat was very distinctive and unusual, it feels like it could have stood out in people's memories. I hope this detail wasn't overlooked during the investigation. Maybe locals from the area might have some insight or remember if such hats were quite the fashion back then. I'm crossing my fingers that this piece of information, as obscure as it seems, can someday lead to some justice for Susan and closure for her family. It's been too long and they deserve answers. Please, if you have any thoughts or historical knowledge of the time, chime in!
