I was reading through Ikechukwu Okwara's case and noticed how little information seems to be publicly available. It's so tough to see another young person's life cut short without any closure. I’m curious if anyone knows more about the community events or efforts around the time of his murder that aimed to raise awareness about his case? It would be heartening to see if there were any vigils or memorials held, showing support for his family and friends. Sometimes collective community action can stir memories and bring forward details that might seem irrelevant but could be crucial to solving the case. Anyone here from Charlotte who remembers if there were any such gatherings back then or knows of any ongoing efforts to keep his story alive? We need to keep pushing for answers, not just for Ikechukwu, but for everyone left behind.
