Has anyone else found it odd how the record of Letney's missing person report in Angelina County has gone missing? It seems unusual, especially since this kind of documentation is so important in these cases. I've read that sometimes records from the '80s can get misplaced or weren't digitized, but it makes me wonder if there was a mix-up or oversight. Considering the long gap between his last sighting in November 1986 and the supposed report in 1987, could it have contributed to delays in actions or leads? This gap and the missing report definitely raise questions about how efficiently this was handled initially. Thoughts?

I've been digging into the Letney case and something just isn't sitting right with me. Has anyone else noticed how the timeline seems a bit off? If Letney was reported missing sometime in 1987 but last seen in November 1986, that's a significant gap. It's unusual that such a lengthy period passed before he was reported missing. I mean, it was a different era without digital tracking, but still...makes you wonder about the delay. Plus, the missing report being lost seems oddly convenient to me. Anyone have thoughts on why there might’ve been such a delay in reporting, or how records could just vanish like that? Could it indicate some kind of foul play or oversight? Curious to hear what others think!
