Does anyone else find it strange that there haven't been any updated sketches or age progressions of the woman who took Elias? I mean, it's been decades! With all the advancements in tech and forensic art, you'd think there could be some attempt to refresh her image based on how she might have aged. I get that it's tough since there's limited info, but anything could help jog someone's memory. Does anyone know if there's a specific reason for this? Maybe an oversight... or just a lack of resources? Just a thought!

I recently came across Elias Junior Monroy's case, and something that stood out to me is the description of the woman who took him. She allegedly had frosted black hair, which I know was a popular style back then. It got me thinking about how distinct that look is. Someone must have remembered seeing her around that time, especially in LA, where styles change quickly but unique ones stick with you. Also, the attempted abduction in Hesperia points to someone familiar with SoCal and possibly someone moving around between these areas. It's been over 30 years, but this woman had to have connections or acquaintances who noticed her with a new baby suddenly in her life. Does anyone else think it's possible she might confide in someone all these years later, even unintentionally? We should bring more awareness so that anyone who might suspect something feels urged to come forward.

Does anyone remember seeing the news coverage of Elias Junior Monroy's case back in 1987? It seems like the story vanished from the headlines so quickly, which is strange given how rare and terrifying these sorts of abductions are. I was re-reading some old articles and noticed how similar his case is to another attempted abduction in Hesperia that was mentioned in barely a sentence at the time. It's baffling how little attention that got. I'm curious if anyone here has ever come across more detailed reports or if locals from the area have their own recollections or stories. It just seems odd that something as serious as this didn't keep the public's focus for longer. Any thoughts or additional info you've stumbled upon over the years?
