Has anyone ever considered the odd timing of Gary visiting his neighbor for a chainsaw that late at night? It seems unusual to head out just before midnight to borrow something like that. Perhaps Gary had something pressing on his mind or was planning on an early start the next day, but it just doesn’t add up to me. Plus, the fact that he stopped by the tavern so soon after raises even more questions about his intentions that night. How did things escalate from a simple errand to him vanishing altogether? I've always wondered whether whatever threat he might have been concerned about had already started to make him act differently, like this strange midnight errand. Would love to hear others' thoughts on this puzzling behavior.
