I’ve been following the Robert Lee Kellar case, and something that stands out to me is the period between his last known whereabouts and the time his family filed the missing persons report. I know the family thought he'd come back like before, but two years seems like such a long time to wait. It makes me wonder how this impacted the investigation. Did it limit the evidence they could gather or potential witnesses they could speak to? It's tough because I understand why the family waited, given his history of long absences, but I can’t help but think it might have led to lost opportunities in finding him sooner. Has anyone else seen cases where a delay like this complicated the search?
