Hey everyone, I recently stumbled upon Belinda Martinez's case, and something that's been puzzling me is the aspect of her being "overwhelmed". I wonder what might have been going on in her life at the time that made her feel like she needed a break. It's so sad thinking about how people often feel isolated when dealing with their struggles, and perhaps she didn't feel like she could reach out for help. I also can't stop thinking about her kids and what they must have been told back then. It's been over 30 years, and still so many unanswered questions. Does anyone know if there were community resources or support groups in Immokalee at the time that she could have turned to? Maybe understanding that part of her life might give us some insight into what could have happened.

Does anyone else find it strange how Belinda Martinez just vanished without a trace back in 1990? I mean, the fact that there were hints she might've gone to Texas or even crossed into Mexico makes me wonder if someone helped her disappear. It's not easy just to fall off the grid like that, especially when you've got little ones at home. I'm curious if anyone has looked into whether she had a friend or acquaintance in those areas who might have given her a hand. Also, has there been any renewed interest in her case or contact with the sheriff's office in recent years? It feels like fresh eyes could uncover new angles. Thoughts?
