Have any of you been following the Lake City case involving Heather Schwartz and Chad Hickman? It's such a deeply upsetting event for everyone involved. I’ve been reflecting on the incredible bravery of Bella Padilla-Everitt, the 13-year-old girl who managed to call 911. Despite suffering from serious injuries herself, she found the courage to reach out for help, likely saving her own life. I can't even begin to comprehend the strength it must have taken for her to do that in the middle of such chaos. Does anyone know if there's been any update on Bella's recovery? I'm hoping she's surrounded by love and support right now. Sending my thoughts to her and the families of all involved. It’s truly a senseless loss of life, and I hope the community can find a way to heal together after something so traumatic.
