I recently came across Clarden "Bill/Buck" Rowan Jr.'s case and something that hasn't been mentioned much in discussions is the detail about his clothing. He was last seen wearing a flannel, t-shirt, jeans, and work boots. Given the rural area of Buckhannon, WV, and the work clothing he was in, does anyone think there's significance there? Could he have been planning to meet or help someone that day? It seems odd that if he was last seen at home, these were his chosen clothes. I wonder if this points to him expecting visitors or heading out for a task he never got to complete. Anyone from the area or with similar cases have any thoughts on this?

Hey everyone, I was reading some old local news clippings about the Clarden "Bill/Buck" Rowan Jr. case and something struck me as odd. Why is there so little reported about what he was doing that day? We know the basics of what he was wearing and when he was last seen, but what about his plans or routine? Did he have any known meetings or errands? It's strange how even after all these years, it seems like such information hasn't come to light or wasn't documented well enough. I mean, his clothing suggests he didn’t plan on leaving for long, right? Anyone here have more insight about his usual day-to-day back then or any hearsay on what might have been happening around that time in the community? It just feels like a giant gap in understanding what might have led to that day. Would love to hear any thoughts or theories!
