Hey everyone,
I was really struck by the story of the candlelight vigil that the community held for JJ on the waterfront. It's heartening to see the community coming together to remember someone who clearly touched a lot of lives. I read that JJ loved spending time near the water, so it seems fitting that people chose that location to honor his memory.
It’s stories like these that make you think about the impact one person can have on their surroundings. The entire community showing up with candles and sharing stories and memories of him must have been incredibly moving for his family. JJ's legacy is more than just this tragedy; it's the warmth and kindness he shared with others. I'm keeping his family and friends in my thoughts as they navigate such a difficult time.
Has anyone else here attended similar vigils or events? How have they helped in processing grief or finding some peace after such a tragedy?
Stay safe, everyone.
