Good day to all of ya'll, my name is Tina and I am the great niece of Floyd Walker. I just turned 12 in February when my mom found out about her moms brother. Floyd was the youngest brother many kids. I am not sure how many children their parents had though. I think he was the 7th children but not sure. Anyways, his sister Ruth and her husband Letcher ( my grandma and grandpa.) raised me from the time i was born and i remember uncle Floyd drinking his Budweiser beer and camel non filter cigs. just a laid back kind of guy. He had a ran down trailer in Melbourne where i stepped in a red ant bed and the ants ate me up. Of course he took care of it with some ice cream.

To be honest, I have that for years that there was foul play and i have always thought that his guardian had something to do with it. No proof, just my personal opinion. The few times when I was a kid that i did see his friend Jim, the guy that owned the tire shop; I didn't feel comfortable. you know, kids have that 6th sense about people. Well I got that feeling.

My grandma passed away in 1996, without ever knowing what happened to her baby brother. I am sure that Jim is passed away now too. So it looks like my family will never know.

I would love to try to find his remains and give him a proper burial. Thank yo for taking the time to read.

Does anyone else think it’s strange how quickly Floyd managed to disappear? I mean, he goes missing within just a few minutes of leaving the shop. I find it hard to believe someone with Alzheimer's could navigate his way anywhere without being noticed, especially given how easily he might have gotten confused. Could it be that someone was specifically waiting for him outside? It's just an odd detail that he vanished so quickly without leaving behind any clear clues. Also, the fact that his guardian was a longtime friend and no one noticed him leave immediately has me puzzled. Something feels off about the timing or maybe even the circumstances that allowed it to happen so swiftly. What do you all think?
I was reading up on the case of Floyd Hansford Walker, and something struck me about the circumstances of his disappearance. Given his Alzheimer's, it's likely he was disoriented and may not have realized he was lost. I can't stop thinking about how easy it would have been for someone to take advantage of his vulnerable state. Being dressed in something as distinct as a yellow shirt and blue shorts could have made him noticeable to anyone passing by, yet no concrete leads emerged. Has anyone come across similar cases where the missing person was in a similar cognitive state? I feel like understanding what typically happens in such scenarios could offer some insights.
