Something that's been on my mind is the role of security that night. The owners mentioned having security present, but what exactly were their duties, and how could they have responded? I’m curious to know if there are any eyewitness accounts about how the security personnel reacted once the shooting started, and if there was anything more they could have done to prevent it or help afterward. While the police are surely doing their best with the resources they have, this element of the case raises some questions about the effectiveness of security measures at these venues.
