Hey everyone, I've been following the Rittman tragedy closely, and can't stop thinking about the impact on the officers involved, especially those injured alongside Sgt. Scott Ries. It's easy to overlook the emotional and physical toll on these brave officers who were caught in the line of fire. Their experiences on that night must weigh heavily on them, and they've shown incredible resilience simply by being there. I think it's important that we don’t forget about their recovery, both physically and mentally, as part of this story. The community has lost a great officer in Sgt. Ries, but let's also support the officers who are trying to process the trauma and heal from their injuries, including the courageous K-9 Vick. They too are victims of this unimaginable violence and deserve our thoughts as they navigate these difficult times. Has anyone from the local community heard anything about how they're doing now? It would be nice to know more about their progress, and if there's any way we can help show support during what's surely an incredibly tough period for them. Let's keep them in our thoughts and prayers. Take care all, and hug your loved ones a little tighter.
