I've been following the coverage of the Cheektowaga case and something that really struck me was the impact this has had on the first responders who arrived on the scene. I can't even begin to imagine what it's like to walk into such a traumatic situation. The officers, paramedics, and detectives who worked that day have surely been affected, and I hope they’re receiving all the support and care they need. It's a side of these cases we don't often think about, but that day they witnessed a true horror. My heart goes out to them, as well as to the friends and families of Aaisha, Youssef, and the others affected by this tragedy. Sending strength to the community during such a challenging time.
