I’ve been thinking a lot about the role of community support in the aftermath of this tragedy in Thornton. It’s truly heartwarming to see so many people rallying behind Anze now that he’s facing such an unimaginable loss. It says so much about the tight-knit nature of the local community and the sports teams they were part of. The fundraisers and vigils really show how much this family was loved and the impact they had on those around them. It’s these moments that make me appreciate the strength and compassion people can show in tough times. I just hope Anze knows he’s not alone and has all the support he needs to start healing. The Nelimark family's presence was obviously deeply felt, and their absence will be just as significant. Anyone else who attended the vigil feel the same?
