I've been following the case of Johan Sebastian Durán Guerrero closely, and I cannot stop thinking about the impact on his young daughter. She's only three and now has to grow up without her dad. It's so unsettling to imagine a child losing a parent in such a violent and confusing situation. Having moved to a new country just a few years ago, Durán Guerrero was undoubtedly striving to provide a better future for his family, and now his daughter is left to navigate a world without him. I hope there are programs or support systems in place to help her and her mother through this unfathomable time. It's hard not to feel for this family who moved here full of hopes, only to be met with this terrible tragedy. Community support could make a big difference, but ultimately, we need justice and accountability for what happened. My heart truly goes out to them.
