Hey everyone, I came across Chauncey Lyons' case again and it got me thinking about the impact of tribal jurisdiction issues on missing persons investigations. It's been over 30 years since he vanished, and it seems like his disappearance is another tragic example of how these cases can slip through the cracks between tribal law enforcement and other agencies. The Omaha Tribal Police have been involved, but I wonder if jurisdictional limitations have hampered their ability to collaborate or access broader resources. Anyone familiar with how these legal intricacies play out in similar cases? Maybe increased awareness could lead to better inter-agency cooperation and eventually bring justice for Chauncey and others in similar situations.
