I've been following the discussion around Waylon Williams' case, and something's been on my mind that I haven't seen mentioned much. It's the location of the crime scene—a site already known for violence. It's a reminder that some areas are caught in a cycle of crime and tragedy, which makes me wonder about the ongoing safety measures or lack thereof in these communities. What steps is Charlotte taking to address the larger issue of gun violence in these hotspots? It's so important for the safety of local residents and in preventing future incidents like what happened to Waylon. My heart goes out to his family and friends; having to live with questions and no answers is unthinkable. For them, and for the wider community's peace of mind, I truly hope more people come forward with information, even if they think it's small or irrelevant. Every little bit helps. Stay strong, everyone.
