Hey everyone, I've been following Eric Lancaster's case, and something that's been on my mind is the involvement of the young suspects. It's absolutely mind-boggling and so sad to see youth, kids really, allegedly involved in something so violent and tragic. It makes me wonder about their backgrounds and what led them down such a dark path to begin with. Were they caught up with the wrong crowd, or was it something else entirely? I've read that the KCSO is tight-lipped about the motive, and I get it—details might be sensitive, especially with minors involved. But I can’t help but think about how these kids' families are probably reeling too. Not to excuse anyone, but it’s just a devastating situation all around. My thoughts are with the Lancasters, especially Vernon. The community needs to rally around them and perhaps even push for deeper efforts to guide at-risk youth before tragedies like this repeat. What are your thoughts on how to help prevent such crimes in the future?
