I've been following this case closely and I'm really struck by the fact that there still hasn't been an arrest. It makes me wonder about the challenges law enforcement is facing with proving the suspect didn't act in self-defense. The fact that it happened so suddenly during a birthday celebration is just devastating for the family. I can't imagine how difficult it must be for them to grieve while seeking justice at the same time. To lose not one, but two cherished family members in such a violent way is unfathomable. Has anyone else seen updates or comments from the police or city officials? It feels like the community is left in the dark. My thoughts are with the Carrillo family during this incredibly difficult time.
