I can't stop thinking about the bravery it must have taken for Nansi to try to escape out that window. I mean, in such a terrifying moment, her instinct was to run for her life, and that just speaks volumes about her will to live. It's incredibly tragic that she didn't make it out, and my heart goes out to her family and friends who have to grapple with this senseless loss. I'm also reminded of how easily disputes can escalate into violence, and it makes you wonder what could have been done to prevent this. It feels like such a failure on so many levels—was there a way to de-escalate the situation? Why did it have to end in such a tragic way over something so minor? I just hope that Nansi's family finds some justice and peace as this case unfolds. Hug your loved ones a little tighter today, everyone.
