I was just reading about the Jeanna North case and something that really struck me was how close she was to her home when she vanished. I mean, it was literally just a few hundred feet from the corner where she was last seen. It's baffling and really makes you think about how quickly these things can happen, right under our noses. I've seen discussions on how neighbors and the local community could have potentially missed something that evening. Was anyone else caught off guard by the fact her family initially thought she was with relatives? Given how laid-back things were back in the early 90s, I guess it's understandable, but it’s a chilling reminder that anything out of the ordinary should be checked as soon as possible. What do y'all think, are there any other cases where neighbors or bystanders simply overlooked crucial moments like these?
