Has anyone else noticed the troubling similarity between this case and other recent incidents in the area? It's so distressing to think that roadways, which many of us travel daily, can become the scene of such random violence. The idea that Alexis and her stepfather might have been targeted due to mistaken identity only adds another layer of horror to an already devastating situation. I feel deeply for her family—having to live with the knowledge that she was on the brink of starting something new in her life makes it feel even more senseless. I am hoping that the authorities find the real shooter soon. The latest reports mentioned that they suspect there's someone else involved, but without a name or arrest, how long until justice is served? It's crucial to keep the pressure up and ensure that whoever's responsible is held accountable. Keeping Alexis’s loved ones in my thoughts.
