Hi everyone, I'm really troubled by the lack of police body-cam footage in the Corey Ruiz case. We know that eyewitness videos have been crucial in piecing together what happened, but they're just snippets of a larger, chaotic scene. It's hard to feel like we're getting the full picture when there are no official police videos to compare these recordings to. This makes me wonder, should body cameras be mandatory for all officers, especially in cities like Madison where tensions around police actions can run high? We’ve seen other departments put them to good use, providing clearer narratives of what happened in high-stakes situations like this one. Sending thoughts and strength to Corey's family as they continue to seek transparency and justice. They deserve to know the truth about what happened to Corey, and perhaps mandatory body cams could prevent another family from facing this same uncertainty. What do you all think?
