I’ve been following the developments in the Vidalia case, and something that's been on my mind is the impact this tragedy must have had on the neighborhood, especially for the two children found unharmed in the house. I can't even begin to imagine what they saw or heard that night. I’m hoping they have a strong support network around them, including counseling, to help them process this trauma. On community forums, there's a lot of talk about how safe people feel living in Vidalia now. It’s unnerving when something so violent happens so close to home, especially in a place where everyone’s used to quiet evenings. If anyone from the local area is here, I'm interested in how the neighborhood is planning to support one another and ensure a sense of safety returns. It's so important to pull together during times like this, even if we don’t have all the answers yet. My thoughts are with the families and friends of Xzavier and Za'Mariyah during this devastating time.
