I've been following the Constitution Lakes Park case, and something that's been bothering me is the choice of location. Constitution Lakes Park, especially around the Doll’s Head Trail, is a popular spot, usually buzzing with hikers and families during the day. Why would anyone choose such a familiar place in the early morning hours for something so terrible? Were they just meeting there to talk and things went horribly wrong, or was it deliberately planned to take advantage of the park's early morning emptiness? It's chilling to think about. This whole situation has left me reflecting on how something so violent could happen in a place where many go to find peace. My thoughts are with the families of Tomas and Andres—I cannot even begin to imagine what they're going through as they look for answers and justice for their loved ones.
