I can't stop thinking about how vibrant and full of potential Caroline was. She had achieved so much at such a young age and had her future ahead of her. The fact that she accomplished her goal of reading 100 books over the summer is truly impressive. It makes me wonder if there's a library or reading initiative that could be set up in her honor to inspire other kids in Grand Haven to pursue their love of reading. Her determination and love for learning shouldn't be forgotten. I can't imagine the pain her friends and teachers at White Pines must be feeling. Sending them strength during this incredibly difficult time.
